i really like these shoes so far! they fit great. shoes nowadays keep geeting smaller, but these seemed to be true to size. i used to wear a 12 2e and got a 12.5 2e. which is fine, but i think the 12 would of worked also. i did change the insoles (which i ALWAYS do, as every one else should also). took it for a hike in the woods today and they were GREAT!! much better than my old shoes. finished my normal 5 mile hike faster than normal. very comfortable straight out the box. my only gripe was the blue plastic material right next to the top of the tongue was rubbing me where the foot meets the ankle, but after 30 mins. of hiking it never crossed my mind again and hasnt bothered me since. also very good traction but this hike isnt super technical. but i think they will be fine on most terrain.UPDATE: 3-16-18 still love how comfortable the shoes are, and very stable on trails. BUT under closer inspection of the sole 3 or 4 of the knobs on the sole are already worn almost completely off ( under forefoot) !!! i bought them on 1-26-18. THEY DIDNT EVEN MAKE IT 2 MONTHS!! THIS IS TOTALLY CRAZYI am comparing these to the 610v4's which these replaced. The fit, which is the most important part, is quite a bit different. The 610's had a slightly wider toebox for the same size shoe and the overall fit was better (though the length was a bit shorter than preferred). The 910's are a little narrower in the toebox (thus a touch tighter) and the fit is a little tighter - clearly what was once a 2E is now something else. The cushioning in the 910s is also a little stiffer than the 610s - which is to be expected if the numbering is consistent in the product lines. The soles on the 910s feel more tractive than the 610s.Overall, the 910s are a very good shoe and should do what I need very well.Only one week into wearing them so 4 stars, but as the first reviewer said, all good. Excellent build quality.I have large big toe joints and the first couple days my right foot was feeling tight over the joint. The left foot immediately took well to the new shoe and after 4 days of wear both were happy. Pretty much standard for new shoes. These a quiet too.I have really wide feet and have had a hard time finding comfortable shoes. These fit right away no break in period needed! I used these for a Tough Mudder and they were just great! They had great grip for the obstacles and good support for random terrain. When I got out of mud areas with water I can see and feel the water draining out of the shoe as I walk. Obviously mud stays in so I had to stop once to get it out after it dried inside. But overal the shoes were amazing ! Worth the Buy!a little snug vs other new balance trail shoes of the exact size and width. Not sure if this is due to the extra insulation/waterproofing that it has. After a handful of wears with thick socks and some discomfort, they will break in and feel pretty good. Overall, another great purchase from New Balance.Excellent trail runners. They pretty much stay on my feet since I got them in early December through the entire winter of hiking. Very comfortable, secure footing and GoreTex works unbelievable good. I have been drudging through the snow, mud and water in these sneakers and they stay dry no matter what.Have not been in torrential rain with them yet, but judging by how well they protect my feet while allowing for excellent ventilation this stuff works. Sizing was exact and I did not need any time to adjust to them.Fantastic shoe, I did go wide on the width due to thick socks. I use these as "turf" shoes while coaching little league due to their durability, waterproof, and traction. Way more comfortable than cleats. I skipped last years ugly xmas colors v3 but love this cobalt blue and black. As good as the 910v2 that I still wear. I bought two pair before they sell out and become impossible to find.Very sturdy shoe, I walk 4 miles a day and need a shoe that can hold up especially if it is wet outside. So far this is doing the trick.ho acquiatato queste scarpe in sostituziione di altre new balance che avevano avuto un difetto sulla piegatura della scarpa ( tendeva a rompersi il tessuto). queste non hanno questo problema ma a parità di numero le ho trovate più strette in corrispondenza della pianta per cui ho dovuto togliere la soletta interna e metterne una più sottile. anche così non sono il massimo per cui in caso di lungo uso debbo toglerle completamente. spero che col tempo si allarghino un po'Premetto che sono un fanatico del marchio New Balance e che da qualche anno uso esclusivamente questo brand.
