I bought the women's version of these boots about three years ago, and within two years they cracked in front at the ankle. The women's version was made of hard rubber; these are made of softer, flexible rubber.As usual, less attention is put into women's garments, as if we can afford to dispose of and constantly replace things that are supposed to last more than a couple of years, like rubber muck boots. My Sorels lasted through about 1/5 years of regular garden work (spring-fall only, and not much in summer). My previous Baffins, same.I'll let you know about these. They're made in Canada (as were my "women's" Baffins) and are very comfortable. But they're black rubber boots with a steel toe. The women's and men's versions should be equally durable.Update: April 2021Both of these boots have split over the top of my foot. They can be repaired, but what a drag. Basically, they're useless as rain boots, the water leaks right in. After just one year. I mean, they're not expensive boots, but still...
