I ordered this as a gift, but was sad to see that it isnt the same as the older model " My First Stove". It had a nice option of being able to store dishes or cookware inside. The backboard slip into slots creating a box. This one does not, and the lid is easily separated from the cooktop.Still a nice small option for play cooking, but the other version was my preferred one.Love it. I made my daughters play kitchen with an ikea kallax shelving system. I love this concept. Its small comfortable and fits my shelves nicely for her and doesnt take up extra space like those huge play kitchens. The quality is great too. My toddler loves it.The grandkids love it!!!!!!! It didn't have a bottom on it to store the food like it said........ Plus and this is a big plus....if the grandkids didn't love it I would have sent it back. I paid $20.00's for it and there was a sticker on the box that said Good-Will and the price was$3.99The stove we bought can be stored easily which is what attracted me to it. Our granddaughter is having fun using it when she comes here even though it is not a fancy model like the other one she often uses. It is not clear that pots and pans do not come with the stove in the ad I read. That should be stated.I guess I didn't read the fine print because I made my decision to purchase this solely because it appeared to include a set of toy metal cookware, as shown in all the photos. Boy, was that a disappointment when there were no accessories included! The stove itself is essentially a painted wooden box with simple knobs on the front -- not much realism or detail -- but it's cute anyway.I chose this stove because we have a small area where the kids can play, and although my son loves his big kitchen at Grandma's, we just didn't have the space for one. This is perfect because you can take it out and cook, etc on it, but it tucks away perfectly in our small space.My son loves this stove! I love that you can fit small kitchen cooking toys inside it. It's a great but if you don't want a big kitchen set for your little one.My son wanted to have his own kitchen and this product is a right one for those kids who want to play occasionally. It has all the features to be a great toy to play with and does not take a lot of space to storage it after.
